Assignment No. 5 about Information Technology in Support of Student-Centered Learning

1. What can you say to the objection that an SCL environment can be noisy and unwieldy?
       It can be easily handled by the teacher and is not that noisy. it is in the burden or it depends on the efficiency and flexibility of the teacher in handling Student Centered Learning especially it focuses on collaborative or cooperative learning activities.

2. How can SCL be fun, memorable and healthy?
     Student Centered Learning can be fun, memorable and healthy if it will be well organized by the teacher it is better that it will promote positive interdependence, it is also good if the activities that was need to be done by the student are interesting and also according to their preference and abilities. The group work that the teacher should prepares are those that will encourage student to socialize with one another, where they will learn lot and this learning will be permanently and meaningful to them.

3. Share/discuss experience on your e-mail activities?
     I cannot forget the first time i used my e-mail account, that was in my high school year. My teacher gave us assignments to be done and to be sent in his email address, because I do not have that enough knowledge on using the site which is the yahoo mail, i did not send it, because of this my teacher punish me and because of his words I felt disgrace. This is the time that I promise to myself that it won't happen again so I make it to the point that I explore a lot on how to use it.now, I can say I have better knowledge on using it.

4. Share/discuss experiences on Internet Surfing?
    The first site i have been used was the yahoo and the Google, I have fun browsing it so I explore a lot of the different sites my other friends know. i have concluded that there are those sites on the Internet that is good especially for students like me bu there are also those who are not healthy to our mind. Internet surfing has different purpose on why people used it, it is either to find something, to know and also for our entertainment. It is helpful if we know the different uses of the different sites.
